Administrative Assistant (Long-Term Temporary Opportunity)

Are you skilled at administrative functions, possess a polished welcoming customer service presence and constantly ask others, "how can I help"? This non-profit in Northern Virginia is seeking a professional with at least two years of office experience to provide general office support, front desk receptionist duties, and ad hoc administrative and project assistance across a busy team. The ideal candidate is warm, excellent at communicating with others, confident working across Excel and a quick learner.
About the Job: Communicate with guests, external contacts and the general public to assist with inquiries, requests, and scheduling matters in-person, over the phone and email using strong professionalism.Keep an organized office space, monitoring office supplies and inventory, and general operational needs.Coordinate and prepare conference rooms and manage busy conference room calendars.Liaise with the administrative support team to facilitate communication and coordinate projects in a deadline-driven environment.Organize and compile meeting materials, including but not limited to, reports, documents, spreadsheets and slide decks. Ensure all parties have accurate materials leading up to appointments.Provide administrative and project support to the team and help out with special assignments as needed.Create trusting and lasting relationships with the team by executing tasks with professionalism and a sense of urgency.About the Culture: Opportunity to volunteer and assist in community-based projects.Close and cooperative working relationship between the company's team members.About You: Office know-how.
