Full-time continuing position for a Dynamic and Organised Administrative AssistantFantastic opportunity to provide operational and administrative support to the Sydney Health Executive Education team.Be a part of a transformative journey in healthcare educationBase Salary $86,511 + 17% superannuationFlexible working hours with the option for hybrid work arrangementsAbout the opportunityThe University of Sydney is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant for the Sydney Health Executive Education unit within the Faculty of Medicine and Health.
This role is essential in providing administrative support across various teams, including education, marketing, partnership, and academic sectors.
Key responsibilities include maintaining records, responding to queries, and preparing for meetings.Your key responsibilities will be to:Manage the delivery of daily administration activities and services, providing guidance to colleagues on the ongoing activities and ensuring high quality, efficient administrative support is provided in a proactive manner to staff, participants, clients, and visitors.Analyse incoming correspondence, independently initiates appropriate action where possible and/or ensure the matter is forwarded appropriately to the relevant individual/specialist for resolution.Coordinate orders, payments and invoice management through a range of university systems.Act as a point of contact on HR operational matters, assisting managers and staff with the completion of HR forms, leave bookings, policy navigation, and other HR information or policy matters.Provide high level assistance with HR casual contracts such as CASS, OTA.Provide high level administrative support including diary management, travel coordination and expense submissions and management.Ensure the appropriate coordination of meetings, venue confirmations and the coordination and delivery of courses and programs.About youYou are a proactive and creative individual enthusiastic about providing administrative support in the education and healthcare sectors.
Your strong organisational skills empower you to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining keen attention to detail.
With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you excel at engaging diverse audiences and facilitating effective collaboration across various teams and channels.Practical and tactful communication skills (both verbal and written) together with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgment.Independent and autonomous with ability to work in a team, resolving relevant matters that may arise with daily tasks.Excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve required outcomes.Computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills), Power Bi and content management systems together with experience operating with large, corporate-level database and information systems.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaPlease note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
