We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Administrator to join our IP Operations team to work with our IP document management system to maintain client files, and ultimately help our clients transform their creativity and innovations into commercial edge. This full-time role based in the Melbourne CBD will give an individual the opportunity to work autonomously, as well as work alongside our skilled Operations team. Reporting to the Operations Manager and Team Leaders, your key responsibilities will include: IP tasks such as renewals, examinations requests, processing certificates. Receiving directions from internal and external clients to action appropriately. Submitting requests with IP Australia and the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand as well as other relevant bodies. Capturing and recording accurate data from incoming correspondence. Entering and maintaining case files and client records. Preparing well-constructed written material for key clients. About you You are an experienced administrator, ideally with a minimum of 2 years' experience (in a similar professional services environment). In addition, you will be able to demonstrate the following: Sound knowledge of MS Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Experience of various IT applications and databases. Superior organisational and time management skills. Demonstrated adaptability and initiative skills. Excellent interpersonal as well as written communication skills. Ability to prioritise in high volume environments. Ideally, you will also have the following: Experience in workflow management and client file handling. Knowledge of the Intellectual Property industry.
