Cabanda Care Inc is located in Rosewood, a regional town located 20km west of Ipswich. Opening in 1987 as a 26-bed hostel, Cabanda was a vision of the local community to provide an aged care facility where people could age in the community they lived in.
Since then, we have grown to include a 71 Bed Residential Aged Care Facility, a retirement village with 42 independent living units, Centre based Respite and Social Care Group, Home and Community Care, Meals on Wheels, Community Transport, and the Cabanda Café.
Cabanda is the largest employer in Rosewood and the vision of Rosewood residents living in a community with those they have known all their lives has been maintained. We are proud to say we are still owned by the local community.

Cabanda Care is not just a job, but a community. The Person Must be available Tuesday to Friday. Hours are 9am to 3:30pm (6.5 hours per day; 26 hours per week; 52 per fortnight). A minor adjustment to these hours may be negotiated for the successful candidate.

Job DescriptionCore Objectives Providing administrative assistance to the Quality Coordinator to ensure the facility meets its regulatory compliance requirements.Assist in the preparation of Aged Care accreditation documentation.Compiling reports on compliance and quality related issues as directed by the Quality Coordinator.Assisting in the development and production of newsletters, documents, reports, presentations, and resources.Minute taking and documenting meeting notes.Data entry including surveys.Reception duties (answering phone, front counter) as required.Other administrative tasks as directed to support the organization.Required Qualities Professional and confidential approach.Ability to work under pressure.Organizational and time management skills.Excellent attention to detail.Reliable and punctual.Ability and willingness to maintain harmonious interpersonal and working relationships.Desired Skills and ExperienceA Certificate level (or working towards obtaining one) in Business Administration or Project Management or other relevant qualification.Previous experience in an Administrative Assistant Role or similar.Previous experience in an aged care environment (preferred).
