We are a well established security business in Melbourne's Western Suburbs. Based in Yarraville, we are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant for an IMMEDIATE START to work 4 Days per week - 5 hours per day - 20 hours per week, start and finish times can be negotiated to suit both the business and the successful applicant.
The successful applicant will be responsible for end to end fortnightly payroll processing using applicable payroll software, accounts payable and receivable using Reckon Accounts Enterprise and the management of daily operations of a small office to ensure administration processes and procedures are optimal.  
You will support the business in the best way possible, this is very much a 'hands-on' role. 
Typical responsibilities will include: End to end processing of fortnightly payroll using applicable payroll software for award and salaried staffProcessing of employee monthly Superannuation and Quarterly Portable Long Service Leave Reports and paymentsResponsible for processing both accounts payable and receivable using Reckon Accounts EnterpriseUpdate, record and maintain effective and efficient office administration systems and procedures.Maintain effective administrative filing systemsManage monthly expenses and credit card reconciliationsLead and coordinate all administrative activities: Manage the running of the Victorian office including managing office maintenance, mail, supplies, equipment and errandsAnswering and managing all incoming calls professionally, efficiently, and accuratelyIn line with company policies, work towards maintaining a safe and healthy workplace and assist in the achievement of Company objectives regarding OH&S.About you: The right applicant will be someone who is highly organised with a proven ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as working to deadlines.
The successful applicant should have the following skillset:
Appropriate qualification in administration, payroll and / or equivalent experience (2-5 years) in an administrative support position.Highly reliable and self motivatedProficient in Reckon Accounts Enterprise and payroll softwareIntermediate to Advanced technical skills including Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook).Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalDriven, proactive manner, quick to adapt to the changing needs of a businessAnswering and managing all incoming calls professionally, efficiently, and accuratelyAbility to build strong, positive relationships with your team and wider businessHow to apply: If you feel you have the experience for this role, please forward your resume now, by hitting the Apply Now button.
