As a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant your responsibilities will include: Ensuring Reception is opened/closed during regular business hoursGreeting and welcoming each guest in a friendly and inviting mannerAnswering the software-based telephone in a professional manner, and transferring the caller to the appropriate business unit or colleagueAssemble T1 personal tax returns as well as other Canada Revenue forms including T4s and T5sPreparation of letters and reports using firm templates in compliance with Firm standardsProof-read, review for quality and verify content before finalizing any client deliverablesE-filing as requiredReceiving and securing cheques, debit/credit card paymentsManaging boardroom bookings and catering requirements including set-up, and clean-up for meetings and office eventsProviding assistance with the preparation of meeting materials (i.e. presentations, handouts etc)Participate in training and stay current with GT softwareProvide billing support using various Grant Thornton systemsUsing Microsoft D365 application software to set up new clients as well as track, maintain and report on client relationshipsGeneral administrative duties including, but not limited to: filing, photocopying, scanning and faxingCollecting, coding, and processing payables for the business unitManaging mail and courier requirements for delivery and pickupLight cleaning of shared spaces such as kitchen, lunchroom, boardroom, and countersMaintaining proper office appearance and cleanlinessMaintenance tickets to the landlordOrdering office suppliesBe Grant ThorntonIf you're a bit like us, you're driven to connect with how others are feeling and thinking. At Grant Thornton, we're committed to ensuring our compensation practices are fair, equitable and competitive. To get the conversation started, we're happy to share that our current base salary for this role ranges from $42,000 - $50,000.Are you ready to Discover Your Purple? #LI-Onsite
