About you: We are currently seeking a dedicated and friendly medical receptionist to join our team on a full time.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the agility to interact courteously and effectively with patients, staff and visitors. Proficiency in computer skills and experience with medical software systems specifically Healthtrack software is an advantage. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and administrative tasks. Ability to efficiently complete and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment. Professionalism, reliability and a positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration. Key attributes of a successful candidate: Friendly and approachable demeanor with a strong commitment to patient satisfaction. Previous experience in a medical receptionist or administrative role, preferably within a healthcare setting. Efficient and organized, with excellent time management skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks and procedures. Integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive patient information. A strong understanding of policies and procedures and complying with policies within the workplace. Knowledge of HealthTrack Software (desirable). Tasks & responsibilities: Greet patients and visitors in a warm and friendly manner, always providing excellent customer service. Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient enquiries and requests. Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and process necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently. Maintain electronic medical records including gathering of medical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information in compliance with privacy regulation. Coordinate with clinical staff and providers to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient clinic operations. Assist with billing and insurance-related tasks, including processing payments and submitting claims to Medicare, DVA and other third-party insurers. Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and maintaining office supplies. Using your creativity and experience to create more efficient medical processes and procedures.
