We operate out of a state-of the-art facility in the southern suburbs of Brisbane, with an additional network of sales offices and warehouses in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. The Administrative Assistant's duties include providing sales administration support to various product lines as required. Given the role also requires receptionist duties, the incumbent must be multi-skilled with an ability to quickly assimilate new tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
More specifically your duties will include the following:
Receive and action general enquiries, freight quotes and sales orders by phone and emailCollate relevant paperwork and raise sales orders & warehouse requisitions.Participate in sales & staff meetings if required.Liaise with despatch, sales, and service departments.Manage bin and stock transfers.Confirm or fix errors in relation to electronic and hard copy documents.Manage returns and credits.Deal with customers and dealers and escalate as required.In determining suitability for the role, the following criteria are considered essential:
Intermediate level of computer and technical skills in computer software including Enterprise Resource Planning Software and Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, TeamsSkilled in the accurate transfer of critical dataSkilled at note takingSkilled at negotiating difficult conversationsKnowledge of meeting proceduresThe following criteria will be highly regarded:
Formal training/certification in administrationAdministration experience in a manufacturing environment
