Administrative Assistant, Clerk Grade 1/2, Wollongong An exciting opportunity exists for an Administrative Assistant to join in the NSW SES Fleet Services TeamWork in a volunteer-based agency supporting communities of NSWFull-time temporary position until 30 June 2025Location: NSW SES State Headquarters, Wollongong.
We offer hybrid working arrangements, requiring attendance in the office a few days per week.About the opportunity The Administrative Assistant provides timely and accurate administrative support across a range of tasks within the Fleet Services Team.
This role requires excellent customer service skills, assisting our volunteers, internal and external stakeholders, and members of the public.
Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support for the fleet team, including:
Monitoring and triaging inbound emails and service desk tickets related to fleet enquiries/issues.Responding to and resolving general administrative enquiries/issues.Meeting coordination and meeting minutes.Coordinating and maintaining the State Headquarters pool fleet, including:Organising proactive servicing, repairs, and maintenance.Coordinating vehicle cleaning.Conducting regular stocktakes of vehicle equipment, inspecting and replacing items as needed.Collecting and archiving vehicle running sheets.Managing vehicle booking requests.Investigating and resolving infringements and toll notices.Assisting with asset disposal and stocktaking.About the NSW SES Our Mission: NSW SES saving lives and creating safer communities. About you To be successful in this role you will need to:
