ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / BOOKKEEPER / SALESJOB DESCRIPTIONAn opening exists for an experienced administration assistant, with strong bookkeeping skills, who is detail-oriented, analytical and mathematically-minded. This is a full-time position offering flexibility and great conditions. The role is to assist with and perform office administration and bookkeeping duties, customer service and sales, process purchase orders, conduct inventory and liaise with suppliers and transport companies. It will also include developing and documenting policies, processes and procedures.Ramien's Timber Co. is a fourth generation, unique timber specialist company, growing and expanding for over six decades in Dubbo NSW. The business consists of the drive-through retail warehouse, custom timber joinery, administration office and timber lifestyle showroom. The successful applicant will be working in this highly responsible position, alongside Ramien's Timber Company's enthusiastic and motivated team, to provide our valued customers the highest standards of products and customer service.RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIESCommunication: Greeting customers, customer service, phone calls, relaying messages, responding to emails and mail, liaise with the team.Scheduling: Schedule appointments, meetings and events, prepare calendars.Organisation: Manage filing systems, maintain contact database.Documentation: Create, compile, maintain and store documents, produce and distribute correspondence, data entry.Financial Management: Reconciling accounts and keeping financial records, processing payments and handling daily banking activities, identifying data irregularities to management, generating invoices and receipts, producing balance sheets, statements and other financial reports, use of retail management software, producing and maintaining spreadsheets.Equipment Maintenance: Scheduling services, organising repairs including vehicle services, insurances and registrations, maintaining equipment inventories.Supplies: Ordering office, cleaning, food.Other: Continue education or workshops as required, keep up to date with industry standards in bookkeeping.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSAdept in administration and bookkeeping role, using best practice, with demonstrated experienceHigh level skills in mathsSkilled in Microsoft Office applications and other applications as requiredAccuracy in all calculations and great attention to detailStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenExceptional customer service, team oriented, proactive and self-motivatedLove of people and numbersHighly organised and able to work under pressure to specific deadlinesAptitude for learning new software and systemsPREFERRABLE: Administration and bookkeeping qualifications with extensive experience.
