Provide reception support to all health staff, and service to the public.The Team:The North Eastern Soldiers Memorial Hospital (NESMH) is an 18 inpatient bed District Hospital in the northeast of Tasmania.
In addition, there is a 3-bed emergency department.
This is complemented by allied health services including a radiographer 9 days per fortnight.
The hospital has a catchment area of more than 3200 square kms.
The NESMH also provides community nursing and home help services to clients in their home.The Role:This position provides admin support to the clinical staff after hours.
The hours being 4-6 pm business days and 10am - 6.00 pm weekends and public holidays on a roster basis.
The tasks for this role include:First point of contact for the hospital (phone and face to face)Admin duties including but not limited to making appointments, medical record filing, and reception dutiesYou will need:Experience in administration.Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Details of appointment:Fixed term, part time, shift worker position, working up to 32 hours per fortnight, commencing from 20 January 2025 until 30 June 2025.
