Primary objective The primary objective of this role is to support the Corporate Governance Unit and to provide high level administrative and executive support and contribute to the achievement of project priorities through administrative and project management support for the Corporate Governance Unit.
Key duties and responsibilities 1.
Undertake a broad range of project support activities including procurement, governance, record management and initiatives and coordination of information material.
2.
Anticipate needs, coordinate, and provide assistance with relevant papers/briefings prior to meetings and assist with the preparation of a range of documents and drafting correspondences as required.
3.
Analyse correspondence and initiate and monitor progress on correspondence, projects, tasks allocated to ensure deadlines are met.
4.
Liaise with and respond to planning and coordination enquiries from across agency with regards to internal and external stakeholder and governance activities.
5.
Coordinate corporate governance, finance approvals, invoice payments and administration for specific projects.
Selection criteria Essential 1.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in administration and project management support, including the development of project plans and schedules and monitoring of key deliverables.
2.
Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills with previous experience in preparing correspondences and briefings with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
3.
Experience in researching, analysing, and interpreting written information from a variety of sources in a timely manner.
4.
Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to high personal work standards and the delivery of services to internal and external stakeholders.
5.
Well-developed understanding and skills in the use of computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and electronic calendar applications, as well as specific project management software.
6.
A sound knowledge of the principles of equity and diversity, occupational health and safety, and the ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures.
