Administration Volunteer, Newtown

18th December, 2024Purpose / ObjectiveThe Admin Volunteer provides administrative support to the Welcome & Registration Team by responding to enquiries, reviewing and processing registration forms, corresponding with ASC clients and completing checklists to ensure compliance.Commitment Period : Minimum 6 months (ongoing)Days and hours required per week :One weekday per week, 4-5 hours.
Flexible which day and start and finish time.
There is the possibility for volunteering from home once the training period is completed.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist Welcome & Registration in the new client registration processReview Google Doc form responses and check data against documents providedCreate new client files and upload data to CRMLiaise with ASC clients on signing consent forms and outstanding documents requiredCheck intake inbox and respond to client queriesFurther administrative tasks as neededSelection CriteriaAdvanced computer skillsExcellent attention to detailAbility to closely follow workflows and guidance documentsAbility to effectively coordinate and organise tasks within the organisationAbility to work collaboratively with other staff and volunteersFlexibility and willingness to take on extra tasks as appropriateAbility to adhere to policies in relation to code of conduct, boundaries and confidentialityGeneral ConditionsAll ASC staff and volunteers are required to :Adhere to ASC's vision, purpose and valuesAct at all times in accordance with ASC's Code of Conduct and Child Protection PoliciesComply with Work, Health and Safety systemsComply with Incident Management Procedures and emergency protocolsDemonstrate respectful and welcoming behaviour with all people at ASC in culturally appropriate waysUndertake a NSW Working with Children Check prior to commencement and ensure it is up-to-dateSupport a child safe organisation by undertaking screening for suitability to work with children and vulnerable people and to comply with relevant state / territory legislative requirementsApply For Job
