As an administration trainee, you will provide administrative support for Centacare NENW to maintain efficient service delivery. This role will provide general reception duties and assist the Program Support Officer to maintain a busy youth practice. You will also complete day to day administration duties and the booking of travel requirements.

Act in a way that promotes the image of Centacare NENWby greeting clients/visitors, young people, families and carers, answering telephones, letters, and general client enquiries in a friendly and approachable manner.Assist visitors to access relevant information resources.Attend to general inquiries relating to Centacare NENW.Operate a busy reception area and transfer calls appropriately. Record and disseminate accurate and detailed messages when staff are not available to take incoming calls.Maintain professional persona whilst taking referral details and also manage distressed clients who may present to the front reception or over the phone.Keep the office environment in a clean, organised and presentable manner at all times. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a range of people from young people to senior staff.Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and programs.Provide administrative services in a friendly, efficient and professional manner.Well-developed liaison, oral and written communication skills.Competent operation of office equipment including computer, printer, photocopier, fax and scannerCompetent use of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office products.Commitment to ethical practices, confidentiality, WH&S and EEO principles.
