ADMINISTRATION TRAINEE - FACILITIES & PARKS A Trainee Opportunity – South Burnett Regional Council #2488: Kickstart your Administration career with this outstanding Traineeship with the South Burnett Regional Council.
The Kingaroy based Traineeship will be full-time for 12 months commencing Monday 20th January, 2025 and include the completion of a Cert III in Business Administration.

Who Should Apply: The opportunity is offered under the Queensland Government's Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative to provide increased employment opportunities for young Queenslanders, mature age Queenslanders and others finding limited options in the employment market.
The Duties: Reporting to the Facilities Management Officer, the Trainee will perform a diverse range of duties which will include: Assist with day-to-day Administration functions and activities of sections within the Council's operations.
Rotate services between sections to facilitate learning, training and broader experience.
Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients.
Complete Cert III in Business Administration.
Acquire practical on-the-job Administration experience.
Maintain a record of training achieved.
Maintain a safe, clean and tidy workplace.
Complete other reasonable activities and directions as needed.
The Requirements: Minimum successful completion of year 10.
A commitment to learn new skills and complete formal qualifications.
Sound comprehension and numeracy skills.
The ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision as required.
Sound communication skills.
Proven team player qualities.
A minimum current "C" class driver licence.
A commitment to safety in the workplace.

Pre-employment Assessments: Prior to commencement, the successful applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment medical assessment which will include drug and alcohol testing.
