About The Role: This is a Full-Time, Fixed-Term position at 80 hours per fortnight at Gatehouse Sexual Assault Service at The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH), Parkville.
You will be responsible for the operational and administration functions within Gatehouse to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the service.
Working closely with the Gatehouse Manager and leadership team, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the service including financial and administrative duties; reporting; managing staff leave, credentialing, training and professional development requirements; scheduling appointments and room bookings; on and offboarding staff, and service policies and procedures including quality improvement.
The Administration Team Leader reports directly to the Gatehouse Manager and is responsible for the line management of administration officers in the team.
What You'll Achieve: Effective management and coordination of Gatehouse's daily clinical operations including scheduling and templating, work queues, clinic room bookings and other administrative functions.
Contribution to a culture of open and effective communication, teamwork and lifelong learning.
Development and maintenance of positive relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including clients and other staff at the RCH.
Classification for this position will be Managers and Administrators Grade 4 Year 1-5 (AO41-AO45) Your Skills and Experience: Post-secondary qualification in a related field along and 2-3 years' relevant industry experience (preferably in healthcare).
Experience performing a similar, senior administrative role.

About the Department: Gatehouse is a department of the Royal Children's Hospital and a Centre Against Sexual Assault (CASA) - a specialist sexual assault service.
Gatehouse provides therapeutic interventions and support for Children and young people aged 0-17 and their non-offending family member and carers living in the Brimbank Melton or Western Melbourne areas (Moonee Valley, Maribyrnong, Melbourne Hobsons Bay and Wyndham LGAs) or who are inpatients at the the RCH.
Services are provided at the service's community sites in Melton, Werribee and at the RCH.
