Exciting Opportunity for an upcoming inspiring leader We are seeking a dedicated and proactive 2IC to join our team and assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our clinic. In this role, you will support the Administration Team Leader to ensure the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining the highest standard of care for our patients. You will also supervise and guide the reception staff, providing strong leadership and operational support in alignment with Benson Radiology's values and behaviours. This is a key role that requires positive leadership, a focus on service delivery, and the ability to foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Duties Include, but not limited to: Booking, registration and invoicing of medical imaging examinationsEnsure all patients, their families, health professionals and the community are greeted in a friendly, prompt and helpful manner, either face to face or over the phoneMaintain awareness of patient wait times and keep them informed of excessive wait time on or before arrival, their progress in the queue and or offer alternatives where appropriateEnsure appointments are managed in accordance with booking guidelines, and that appropriate schedules are maintained for each appointment type as required. Assist with training and induction of new reception staff acting as a mentor/buddy.Provide support to the reception team during implementation of new procedures and workflows. Provide performance and behavioural feedback to reception staff. Assist Administration Team Leader with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth workflow of the branch. Provide administrative support to medical imaging technologists and radiologists as requiredThe successful candidate will have: Previous experience working as a, 2IC, Senior Receptionist or similar positionsDemonstrated experience in the management, supervision and development of employees, including day to day management of workloadsHighly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, including the capacity to advise and consult effectively with a wide range of patients, service providers and other professionalsWell-developed organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise competing tasksKnowledge of Medical Practice software systems is desirable Knowledge of online appointment systems, recall and reminder system is desirable Recent experience in a healthcare environment is desirable We pride ourselves on being an equal opportunity employer, committed to supporting an inclusive & diverse workplace.
