Administration Support Officer - Infrastructure Services Portland Office Cliff Street, 71 Cliff Street, Portland, Victoria, Australia Req #133 Tuesday, 19 November 2024 Full Time $67,748.17 - $71,456.53 Gross per annum + Superannuation Our Values| Respect | Integrity | Teamwork | Service Excellence |Innovation About the Opportunity A fantastic opportunity has become available at Glenelg Shire Council for a proficient and experienced Administrative Support Officer to work in our Infrastructure Services Department.
The Infrastructure Services Department includes; Roads & Infrastructure Maintenance, Environment & Facilities, Projects & Engineering, Airport and Local Port Operations.
Duties and responsibilities include:   Providing general administration and customer service assistance to the Infrastructure Services department.
Organising internal/external meetings.
Timber Harvest Administration duties.
Processing Asset Protection and Works Within Road reserve Permit Applications.

What you need to Succeed The successful candidate will have: Several years' administrative support experience in an office environment.
Experience using Microsoft software applications and proficient word processing skills.
Proven ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
Demonstrated time management capabilities.
High level customer service skills and good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence including meeting agendas and minutes.
Professional and positive attitude with the ability to exercise initiative.
