If you require an adjustment for the recruitment process or job, please discuss this with the contact officer.Aboriginal applicants will be granted priority consideration for this vacancy.Primary objective:Provide efficient administrative support to the NT Police, Fire and Emergency Services (PFES) College including preparation of training resources, course administrative support, and data entry of information.Key duties and responsibilities:Provide support services to the PFES College business unit.Assist with course administration, including quality assurance and managing learner enrolments, and ensure training and learner information is entered into databases with high levels of accuracy.Assist with preparation of training resources including formatting of documents.Record documents and files in the Territory Records Manager (TRM) system.Provide secretarial and minute-taking services at meetings as required.Provide support for functions and major events within the College as required.Selection criteria:Essential:Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with confidence to deal with employees at a range of levels.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team, manage own time and priorities whilst achieving positive outcomes.Previous experience in entering high volumes of data with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.Demonstrated problem-solving skills and flexibility, with the ability to build client partnerships whilst maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.Sound skills in computer software packages including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and databases with a high attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.Attention to detail, ability to use initiative and problem solve.Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing demands.Demonstrated self-motivation, initiative, and organisational skills, with the ability to undertake multi-tasks and work to strict deadlines.Desirable:Familiarity with training environments.Experience in using Territory Records Manager (TRM), ADAPT, VETtrak, and SharePoint.Further information:The successful applicant must consent to a check by Police of criminal records and intelligence data to confirm they have no significant criminal history record.
