Job DescriptionAbout the Role Based in GPA's Brisbane CBD office, we are looking for an enthusiastic Admin Support Person to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Australian-owned business with a small, family-like culture.
The role involves taking responsibility for the office operations but also pitching in with day-to-day tasks. The role requires someone who can thrive in a hands-on, collaborative environment, handle diverse responsibilities, anticipate needs, and solve problems on the go, all while maintaining a strong, team-oriented, and positive office culture.
Key Duties: Maintain and order stationery and kitchen supplies.Reception duties including answering the door, receiving and sending mail, answering calls directed to Brisbane Admin.Assisting with workshops by setting up rooms, ordering catering, filling coffee orders and cleaning up afterwards.Running inductions for new starters, as well as assisting HR & IT with setting up the new starters for success.Planning and running office events, whether they are social, corporate or cultural.Co-ordinate with the Head Office admin team to maintain adequate supplies of PPE and uniforms.Raise maintenance requests and follow up with the building manager.
