About us: Central Queensland Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service provides specialist mental health, substance, and alcohol related care to residents of Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands and Banana areas (catchment in excess of a population of 250,000) with services located in each area.
About the role: To provide, develop and maintain an efficient, effective, ethical, and confidential administrative and secretarial support service to the Director of Training (Central Queensland and Wide Bay) whilst working collaboratively as a member of the Administrative Team.
This position will operate with a high degree of independence in performing the duties of the position whilst maintaining open channels of communication between all staff within the Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service, Rockhampton Hospital and Health Service and external providers.
About you: Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
Demonstrate high level of communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively liaise, consult and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders to build and maintain positive relationships.
Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise and consult effectively with personnel at all levels both within and external to the organisation.
Highly developed attributes intact and judgement on sensitive issues.
Possession of advanced computer skills including Queensland Health Information Management Systems; Microsoft word and excel software applications.
What we offer: Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $39,062 p.a.
is comprised of: An hourly rate between $38.81 - $43.16 p.h.
