About the Role Cairns Private Hospital is seeking a flexible, highly organised and enthusiastic individual with leadership skills to assist in the day-to-day coordination and supervision of our Patient Administration Department.
In this role you will be an essential leader within the team ensuring departmental tasks are achieved in an effective and efficient manner. You will be responsible for maintaining relations with all internal and external customers and continually provide service enhancements to meet customer expectations.
This role will be full time position working 38 per week.
Key Accountabilities Providing training, support, assistance and leadership to administrative staffUpholding customer service standards in alignment with The Ramsay WayImplementing efficient document control measures across the departmentEnsuring that all administrative functions support clinical and hospital requirementsEnsuring that billings and cash collections are completed and submitted in a timely mannerParticipating in frequent leadership team meetingsParticipating in quality improvement activitiesAbout You As an outstanding Leader you are a role model of professionalism and customer service. You will be a brilliant multitasker, detail orientated and great at planning, organising and problem solving.
You will also bring: Exemplary customer service skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong Proficiency in using practice software's including Blue Chip and Medical DirectorFamiliarity with hospital software, MeditechAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office suite.Knowledge of health fund contracting systemDemonstrated commercial acumenThe ability to manage multiple priorities and handle the pressure of a large workload.Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.Sound knowledge of hospital preadmission and admission focuses (desirable)Remuneration A base annual salary ranging from $70k - $80k + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
