It's you that makes the difference to making amazing places, and we believe everyone can influence change for the better."Connecting People and Places to Make the World Work Better".We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Accommodation Supervisor to be a part of establishing and overseeing all accommodation/administration services at Dugald River Village (north-west QLD).This is a permanent Full-Time opportunity working an 8 days on/ 6 days off roster, either DIDO from local and surrounding areas or FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville.About the roleThis role will be responsible for the overall efficient running of our village accommodation and administration operations.As an Administration Supervisor, you will be responsible for reception, management of accommodation systems, travel logistics, and all aspects of general office administration.You will assist the village management team with ensuring an excellent resident experience by implementing administrative processes, coordinating and completing work assignments, liaising with various departments to ensure efficient operations and delivery of excellent customer service.You will be a hospitality professional with demonstrated customer service ethos and leadership skills.The Position:Management of all village accommodation/administration servicesEnsuring all aspects of service delivery in accordance with the contract for servicesSupervise accommodation staff in their day-to-day dutiesEnsure a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance in all accommodation facilitiesAssist the Housekeeping supervisor to schedule and supervise ongoing maintenance programs for periodic cleaning and inspectionsConduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and service rotationsEnsure effective communications through timely response and action to requests including accommodation services, maintenance requests, and general inquiriesMonitor stock levels and handle ordering of accommodation supplies as neededEnsure compliance with established policies and procedures within the accommodation/administration function and other relevant areasContribute to the development of a highly engaged and motivated teamEnsure the promotion of a strong site safety culture and compliance with all workplace health and safety requirementsExperience in mining village operations preferred, though all relevant hospitality or accommodation experience will be consideredDemonstrated experience using an accommodation booking system and Microsoft Office suiteExcellent organisation and time management skills, eye for detail and high standard of accuracyQualifications in Business Administration desirableDemonstrated experience in effectively managing a range of stakeholder relationships and delivering to planSolutions focused – self-motivated with a proven ability to demonstrate initiative and adapt to changing needs or priorities.Physically fit with the ability to successfully pass pre-employment medical requirementPossess an Australian driver's licenceExcellent communication (written and verbal) and customer service skillsAbility to thrive in a busy and dynamic environmentTo apply for this role please click on the 'apply' link and complete the online application.
