Kindred Care, a locally based company in the Northern Rivers, provides Community Nursing services, Community Support and Temporary Staffing to Aged Care Facilities throughout the region.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to start a full-time career in office administration whilst studying for a relevant qualification. This position offers the chance to develop practical skills as an office administrator, with comprehensive training provided, all within an environment that fosters a culture of support, collaboration and teamwork. In this role, you will assist the Director, Leadership Team, and other team members in the office.
Key responsibilities: Handling incoming phone calls and directing them to the appropriate staff member or department.Welcoming staff, visitors, and the public upon arrival.Assisting the Roster Manager with scheduling for both community and agency staff.Managing social media accounts.Offering support and assistance to all team members as needed.Maintain overall office cleanliness, including emptying the shredder and restocking paper in the photocopier.Ideal attributes of the successful candidate: Eagerness to learn and maintain a strong work ethic.Demonstrates professionalism, interpersonal skills, and initiative.Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.Effective verbal and written communication abilities.Fundamental computer skills.No prior experience necessary.Office hours are Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm.
