About the team YMCA Community Centres deliver local responses to local needs through our service delivery model and practice framework.With a focus on young people.
The YMCA Springfield Central Community Centre and Sports Hall provides information and referral, programs and events based to the local community.
Administration Officers are crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of an organisation.
They handle a wide range of tasks that support the daily functioning of the Community Centre YMCA Springfield Central Community Centre and Sports Hall , are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Administration Officer to join their team on a Permanent Part-Time basis, based at their Springfield Central Communtiy Centre .
About the role As an Administration Officer within our Community Centre, you play an important role where no two days are the same.
You will often find yourself wearing multiple hats and performing a wide range of tasks across different functions.
This versatility can make the job both challenging and rewarding.
What will my time look like?
Provide effective communication in the front desk operations between staff and visitors.
Handle general administrative tasks such as General enquiries, phone and Centre email management, Hire agreements and inductions, visitor management,  incident reports, and some procurement.
Adhere to various regulations and standards.
Administrators need to keep track of compliance requirements and support the Operations Coordinator to prepare reports accurately and on time.
From meetings to community events and activities, administrators need to assist in the planning and execution.
Strong organisational skills ensure that these programs, events and information sessions run smoothly.
Support the Community centre's financial activities including petty cash, banking, processing payments and orders, receipting, reconciling invoices for payment and follow-up on late payments Assist the Operations Coordinator to train other staff and volunteers as required.
Am I a good match?
Certificate III in Business (desirable) or equivalent, coupled with experience in a similar role Ability to perform a range of administrative duties tasks You can multitask, prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Proactively willing to use your initiate to complete tasks and work loads Monday to Friday, occasional weekend or after hours.
