Administration Officer - Ward OutpatientsThe Department of Kidney and Transplant Services is looking for an Administration Officer to join their team. This unit is the only super-specialist Level 6 kidney service in Queensland and comprises Ambulatory Kidney Services (including Multidisciplinary CKD clinic, Kidney Transplant Clinics and Dialysis Access Surgery Co-ordination), Peritoneal Dialysis Unit, Home Haemodialysis Unit, In-Centre Haemodialysis Unit (including High-Dependency Haemodialysis Unit), 5 satellite Haemodialysis Units (Redlands, Redlands Satellite, Logan, Eight Mile Plains Satellite, Inpatient Kidney Ward and Queensland Kidney Transplant Services).

About the Role Respond to general reception enquiries in the department by answering all incoming telephone calls and ensuring accurate transfer of messages and information to support patients and staff and assist and direct visitors by accessing patient information and providing an effective and courteous front counter service.Update databases and spreadsheets, complete data entry and maintain accuracy and integrity of information in databases and produce and action reports when requested.Monitor nonclinical supplies and order stock as well as monitoring repairs and maintenance of office equipment in the department.Our values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence, shape our culture within Metro South Health.
