About us:

You will be joining Hunter New England Health's Specialised Intellectual Disability Health Team based at our Wallsend Campus. We are a very supportive team who has a strong focus on being person centred to meet the needs of people with intellectual disability we engage with.
You will be a valued member of our team reporting into the Clinical Nurse Consultant/Team Leader. Our unit provides consultation for people with an intellectual disability and education for health professionals.

About the role:

You will provide an efficient and effective administrative service within the Specialised Intellectual Disability Health Team, offering high-quality customer service as the first point of call through phone calls, email enquires, and face-to-face correspondence.  For more information on the role and day to day responsibilities click here for the Position Description

About you:

If you are an organised, self-motivated individual that enjoys working with people, and has the ability to work independently when required, this would be a great fit for you!
This diverse role requires strong attention to detail and good communication skills as you will be required to develop sound working relationships with your internal and external stakeholders. You will be supported by your experienced team and online resources to gain the knowledge and learn the job specific tasks required for you to excel in this role.
