Administration Officer – Rural Program DeliveryShowcase your exceptional customer service and stakeholder managementTeam focused and results driven environmentFull time, Fixed Term until June 2026, based in Burnie About the opportunity We are seeking an Administration Officer – Rural Program Delivery to work at the Rural Clinical School (RCS) in Burnie. The Rural Clinical School is part of the Tasmanian School of Medicine, within the College of Health and Medicine. The position works as a member of the School's Professional team, under the direction of the Team Leader, and provides a broad range of administrative and support services that are critical to the delivery of the medicine program in Northwest Tasmania and the development of medical training pathways. What you'll do: Support the coordination, organisation, and timetabling of the Rural Clinical School undergraduate learning and teaching programs.Provide administrative support for student examinations and other assessments, course and unit administration, timetable development, and data management.Consult with and provide accurate advice to academic staff, students and stakeholders on course-related information, university policies and procedures.Use and access systems within the University, in accordance with the UTAS and College of Health and Medicine guidelines.Support other members of the broader School administration services team to plan, organise and deliver a variety of learning and teaching activities, educational workshops and promotional events.Undertake other duties as reasonably assigned by the Supervisor. ­What we're looking for: Completion of a certificate level qualification with relevant work-related experience, or equivalent experience and/or education and training relevant to the requirements of the position.Demonstrated administrative skills including good organisation and prioritisation skills.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective, collaborative and professional relationships with staff, students and stakeholdersProficiency in using digital systems and software applications, with a particular emphasis on developing and maintaining spreadsheets with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.A team player with an ability to work independently with minimal supervisions using initiative, sound judgement and discretion. Salary detailsAppointment to this role will be at HEO 4 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $86,321 comprising base salary within the range of $69,646 to $73,779 plus 17% superannuation.
