Salary packaging available Professional support and development provided Administration Officer / Receptionist position available at reproductive & sexual health NGO clinics. Desired minimum 2 days per week. State of the art facilities with comprehensive clinical supports and opportunities to build your customer service and administration skills in reception, call handling, general administration, appointment scheduling and billing.
Shifts now available at:
Newington 24 hours/week across call centre and clinic (Mon, Wed, Fri) Fairfield clinic: 8-16 hours/week (Wed) Flexibility to work at all metro clinics if required is highly desirable.
 Family Planning Australia (FPA) is the leading provider of reproductive and sexual health services in NSW. As an independent not-for-profit organisation, we offer expert clinical care, information, and advice for everybody in every family as well as education and training and evidence-based research to support doctors, nurses, and other professionals.
Develop and expand your administration and customer service skills in a specialised clinical setting focusing  on reproductive and sexual health across clinics, day surgery and our new appointment call centre.
Specialised clinical setting with a variety of administration duties Access to salary packaging ($15,900pa) plus meal/entertainment ($2,650pa) increasing your fortnightly take home pay Access to paid leave entitlements including annual leave, personal/careers leave, parental leave, study leave Modern clinical facilities Multidisciplinary team Comprehensive administration team support structures Fully accredited against the National Safety & Quality Healthcare Standards Values All staff must fully support the FPA values The Administration Officer plays an important role in supporting the operation of Family Planning Australia (FPA) clinics, day surgery and appointment call centre. This is a multi-faceted role which is responsible for providing clerical, administrative and reception support across our range of clinical services. The position is part of a multidisciplinary team.
Base Full Time Salary: $54,288 - $57,090 (salary is based on experience)
Desired Skills and ExperienceRelevant certificate level qualifications in business administration or similarMinimum 2 years previous experience in an administration, reception or call centre roleHigh level computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and data entryHigh level interpersonal and communication skillsProven ability to handle high volume of telephone callsDemonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamMust have Australian working rightsPrevious experience in a healthcare environment, including use of electronic medical record systems and client billingPrevious experience in basic financial systemsExperience working with culturally and linguistically diverse clients and/or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communitiesOther requirements A Criminal Record Check and Working With Children Check are required prior to commencement
