Administration Officer/Receptionist

Administration Officer / Receptionist 12 months initially Suneden is an independent specialist school catering for students with intellectual and physical disabilities aged 5-19. An exciting opportunity exists to join our team of dedicated staff as Administration Officer/ Receptionist. The successful applicant will work 5 days per week during school terms (41 weeks per year + 4 weeks annual leave). Hours of work are 7.45am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Commencing Term 4, 2024.
Key Responsibilities Be the first point of contact for the schoolLiaise with staff, parents and visitors to the schoolGeneral office duties including answering phones and filingPurchasing and ordering of school supplies and classroom resourcesCoordination of the school bus serviceAdministration support to the Principals and Business ManagerProvide First Aid to staff and students as needed Essential Skills/Qualifications Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
High level of attention to detail
Current Senior First Aid Certificate
Current Working with Children Check
Competency in use of Microsoft Office, especially excel
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Bus Licence (LR) desirable (or willing to obtain)
Remuneration Employment conditions are as per the Suneden Enterprise Agreement with remuneration at Grade 3 of the Non-Teaching Staff schedule. Salary Packaging is also available.
