About the roleThe purpose of this role is to provide an efficient and effective client focused administrative service, undertaking a range of duties which provide effective and confidential administration support to practice manager, clinical staff and other key professionals at the Nurse Led Clinic.While the primary responsibility will be supporting client registrations and appointment scheduling, this role will be expected to become multi-skilled in a variety of administrative tasks / roles in support of the business requirements of Community and Oral Health.The Nurse Led Clinic provides intervention to address immediate care needs of our community.
Operating seven days a week including public holidays, with extended operating hours: 08:00am – 10:00pm.
Further review of operating hours may occur in the future based on client and clinic needs.This role will be required to participate in a 7-day rotational roster working morning and afternoon shifts to cover operating hours.
The .8 full time equivalent (FTE) part time rosters (60.8 hours per fortnight) will be rostered to 8 shifts per fortnight, on a 12-week rotating roster.
The .4 FTE role (30.4 hours per fortnight) will be rostered to 4 shifts per fortnight on a 12- week rotating roster.
About youThis successful applicant will carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values, as outlined above.Ensure the client confidentiality is maintained at all times in accordance with Queensland Health Policy.Achieves results by delivering effective outcomes and assuming accountability.Use high level communication skills both verbal and written to communicate clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings ensuring accuracy and formatting in line with expected standards.Effective time management with the ability to balance priorities and work on multiple tasks, getting work done in an effective and efficient manner and communicating early if there are circumstances that will prevent from meeting deadlines.Demonstrated effective team member skills within a multi-disciplinary team showing initiative in problem solving and an ability to review, develop and implement improvements in conjunction with the team whilst working autonomously, utilising discretion in the absence of decision makers to resolution of conflict, meet deadlines, readjust daily work priorities to meet a changing work environment.
