About the role
Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently looking for an experienced administration officer to join our team covering the night duty position. You should have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality service to patients, visitors, staff and VMOs.
Your duties will include
Perform a broad range of administration duties including: Answer and redirect calls Prepare admission paperwork Conduct follow up requests and make reminder calls for visits Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records Perform Health Fund Checks as required Manage the collection of excesses/co-payments Coordinate with staff from other departments Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry Minimum Requirements:
Previous administrative experience working in a high volume customer centric role. Medical experience preferred but not essential Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong time management and organization skills Ability to follow instructions and take directions as required Previous experience in a hospital or medical environment will be highly regarded To Apply: Please click on the 'Apply' button to be taken to our online application form.
