We respect, protect and promote human rights in our decision-making and actions.The Administration Officer is a frontline position and is the first point of contact for consumers of the Mental Health & Specialised Service (MHSS), their families and carers and all external and internal stakeholders accessing the service.
This position provides customer service excellence while upholding patient confidentiality and utilising discretion.The Mental Health & Specialised Services, Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service operates within an integrated model of care that provides a range of mental health services across community and hospital settings.Key Responsibilities include:Exercise judgement when necessary to solve immediate problems in situations where precedents have not been set and procedures not defined.Effectively communicate with customers and demonstrate understanding, empathy, patience and a positive service focus.Provide high quality confidential administration support to the team, including, but not limited to, the use of MHSS-specific software, data reporting, clinic preparation, referral management, consumer appointment scheduling, assist with Medicare claiming and fleet car management.Remuneration value up to $58,594 p.a., comprising salary rates $38.81 - $43.16 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3) (part time position, 45.6 hrs p.f.).
