This role covers tasks familiar to those working in health information, emergency department, ward clerk, and outpatient roles. There is a wide variety of daily tasks across multiple settings to provide administration support to both the inpatient and community-based Mental Health Teams of Goulburn Valley Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service.The responsibility of the Administration Officer - Mental Health is to ensure patients are registered appropriately, clinical records are available for treatment, and good customer relations are maintained with patients, visitors, and health care professionals. This role has a particular focus on data integrity in the form of accurate and timely data entry.The successful candidate will have:Demonstrated ability to organise tasks and environment with minimal supervision and under conditions of competing demandsDemonstrate effective computer and IT skillsCapacity to interact professionally with staff and consumers and maintain high levels of confidentiality and patient privacyIf qualifications are a requirement for this position, please attach a copy in support of your application.
