The Opportunity Medical Administration Role within a Friendly and Supportive Radiation Therapy (Cancer Treatment) ClinicOpportunity to join a Successful and Expanding CompanyPermanent Full-Time Position, Monday to Friday Clinic (No weekends), Concord, Sydney, NSWWe have an opportunity for an Administration Officer/Medical Secretary to join our team at our Cancer Care and Treatment Centre in Concord. The overall purpose of this position is to provide high quality patient care, support our doctors and be the first point of call for Icon Cancer Centre clients. Reporting to the Administration Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of administrative services providing exceptional customer service to all patients, their carers, other external clients as well as your colleagues. This is a permanent full-time role with shifts Monday to Friday only.
What you'll be doing: Welcoming patients, collecting and entering personal detailsScheduling appointmentsAnswering telephone calls and responding to enquiriesEntering and processing patient billing (Private Health and Medicare)Monitoring and assessing the administration care path of all patientsMaintaining and managing patient informationSupporting Icon's WHS Officers and committees to effectively carry out their responsibilitiesModelling and promoting Icon's vision and values.Is this you?

Skills & Experience: Excellent organisational and time management skillsAbility to communicate with clarity both verbally (face-to-face and telephone) and writtenAbility to use computer systems – competence required in Word and ExcelDelivery of excellent client service (to internal and/or external clients)Possessing basic knowledge of medical terminologyIcon Group
