Where you'll be working: Support the administrative needs of nurses, medical staff, and allied health professionals in a specific ward or unit.Work closely with administrative staff and the Nurse/Unit Manager(s) to ensure efficient operations.Provide courteous service to patients, staff, and visitors, maintaining a positive image of the hospital.Manage patient records, perform data entry, and handle documentation and property maintenance.What you'll be doing: Provide Administrative Support: Assist nurses and medical staff with administrative tasks to ensure efficient ward operations.Manage Patient Records: Accurately enter and maintain patient data and files in various systems.Deliver Excellent Customer Service: Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.Coordinate Resources: Ensure availability and proper use of equipment and supplies for staff and patient care.How to Apply:

Selection Criteria: Effective communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.Demonstrated experience in word processing, spreadsheet and database software.Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high-pressure, high-volume work environment.Proven experience dealing with patients/clients and their families/carers.Requisition ID: REQ516662
