JCTS facilitates shared GP training activities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health initiatives, cultural education, mentorship, and registrar housing in remote communities.
About the role The Administration Officer supports medical educators, GP registrars, and teams in delivering Aboriginal health training and cultural awareness.
They handle administrative tasks, provide secretariat support, and ensure effective communication across stakeholders to aid the regional JCTS team's activities.
As our Administration Officer , you'll also: provide region-wide administrative support to the JCTS team and assist with cultural education activities promoting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Training.
support site visits, stakeholder engagement, and report preparation for the Regional Manager and Cultural Educators.
act as the primary contact for Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
manage secretariat support, events, filing systems, and ensure information flow within the team.
Skills & Experience Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills with experience in event coordination.
Highly organized, able to handle multiple tasks, and work well under pressure in a team environment.
Demonstrated attention to detail, strong work ethics, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in MS Office applications, online learning management, and CRM systems; must have a driving license and be willing to travel.
