Administration Officer - Inpatient Unit, Queensland Health

We respect, protect and promote human rights in our decision-making and actions.Key Responsibilities include: Respond to general reception enquiries on the ward by answering all incoming telephone calls and ensuring accurate transfer of messages and information to support patients and staff.Effectively communicate with customers and demonstrate understanding, empathy, patience and a positive service focus.Provide high quality confidential administration support to the team including, but not limited to, the use of MHSS-specific and SCHHS software including Consumer Integrated Mental Health Application (CIMHA) Office 365, Hospital Based Corporate Information System (HBCIS), Integrated Electronic Medical Records (ieMR).As the primary contact on the ward, assist and direct visitors by accessing patient information and providing an effective and courteous front counter service.
Remuneration value up to $37 924 p.a., comprising salary rates $37.68 - $41.90 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3) (part time position, 30.4 hrs p.f.).
