Enquiries: St Peter's East Bentleigh School is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all the children in our care. We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced applicants with a commitment to the ethos of Catholic education for the following position:
Administration Officer (38 hours per week, 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday) commencing 27th of January 2025 or a week earlier by negotiation.
We are seeking enthusiastic applicants who are able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, support the vision of St Peter's Primary School and our Catholic values. Applicants must display professional behaviours when engaging in child-connected work, have an ongoing interest in children and be willing to participate in a range of school-related activities. The Administration Officer will work under the direction of the Principal. They will liaise with and work closely with the finance officer to ensure the smooth and effective running of the School Office.
Key Selection CriteriaThe successful applicant will:
Demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to Catholic EducationPossess highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the school communityHave excellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrate the development of positive partnerships with parents and the wider communityUphold professionalism and confidentiality at all timesAble to prioritise a range of tasks and manage time effectivelyExpertise in using databases, the internet, email navigation and Google SuiteA current Working With Children Check and National Police Record History Check and be a suitable person to engage in child-connected workCommencement date: 27th of January 2025 or a week earlier by negotiation.
