Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School is a co-educational Catholic School in Launceston, catering for Kindergarten - Gr 6 students with an enrolment of approximately 454 students in 2024.
Are you passionate about education and looking for a challenging yet rewarding opportunity? Sacred Heart Catholic School in Launceston, part of Catholic Education Tasmania, is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as an Ongoing Part-Time Administration Officer.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, registered and experienced candidates for the following position:
Administration Officer
15.2 hours per week
(40 weeks per year)
Commencing 3rd February 2025 As an Administration Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our school. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Serving as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment.Managing and maintaining accurate student records, attendance data, and other confidential information with utmost professionalism and discretion.Assisting with the coordination of school events, meetings, and activities, ensuring timely communication and meticulous planning.Providing administrative support to the Principal, teaching staff, and other departments, ensuring efficient workflow and task completion.Contributing to the overall positive and nurturing atmosphere that fosters student learning and personal growth.Experience would be advantageous in the following:
Collaborative and works well in a busy team environment.Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Applicants must have a genuine commitment to the philosophy and aims of Catholic Education and a willingness to participate in the life of Sacred Heart Catholic School.
Catholic Education in Tasmania requires the preferred applicant to be subject to employment screening including (but not limited to) Working with Vulnerable People Registration and a National Police Criminal History check.
