About us: SACS Business Services Unit (BSU) delivers a high standard of corporate support services to various multidisciplinary business units within SACS, as well as to co-located business units within the Community Health Building precinct.
Our suite of comprehensive services includes, but are not limited to; administrative support services, clinical and corporate records management, clinical information management, purchasing, pool fleet management and facilities management.
About the role: To work as a valued member of a friendly, collaborative, and supportive team, providing high standards of clinical records services to community health-based business units, their stakeholders, patients, and carers.
Process, receipt and track incoming and outgoing client records accurately to ensure charts are accessible for timely continuity of client care. Perform general administrative duties including answering telephone, reception enquiries and other duties as requested by management. Prioritise workload effectively and perform duties responsibly in the absence of supervision. Maintain effective communication with staff of all levels in order to achieve organisational goals. About you: Planning, organisational and time management skills that would enable this position to work unsupervised as required. High level communication, consultation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to contribute to a cohesive team environment by sharing information, supporting, and assisting colleagues in a proactive solution focused manner. Proficiency in the application of computerised health information systems and applications including MS Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.
