Administration Officer

Flexible work schedule with potential for more hours Opportunity to gain exposure in mining and equipment hire Collaborative, supportive environment Our client, a well-established leader in mechanical services, mining solutions, and equipment hire, is seeking a highly organised Administration Officer to join their dynamic team.
This part-time role will initially be 3 days per week, with the potential to increase depending on business needs.
The position offers flexibility through a job share arrangement .
Key Responsibilities: Manage a variety of administrative tasks across the mechanical services, mining, labour hire, and equipment hire sectors.
Oversee invoicing, billing cycles, and job costing for projects and equipment hire, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Coordinate logistics for mining equipment, machinery maintenance, and hire operations.
Support the team with scheduling, allocating, and tracking machinery, vehicles, and personnel.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Assist with general office administration, data entry, and record-keeping.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Previous administrative experience in mining support services, equipment hire, or labour hire industries.
Strong understanding of invoicing, billing, job costing, and administrative procedures.
Excellent organisational, communication, and multitasking skills.
A solid knowledge of equipment maintenance and mining operations is highly desirable.
High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
