Our Patient Services Team has a vacancy for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work alongside our team of Administration staff in supporting the hospital's Admissions and Reception.
As an Administration Officer your responsibilities will include: Perform a broad range of administration duties including:Answer and redirect callsOrganise appointments and prepare admission paperworkConduct follow up requests and make reminder calls for visitsMaintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical recordsPerform Health Fund Checks as requiredManage the collection of excesses/co paymentsCoordinate with staff from other departmentsComplete other clerical tasks such as data entryHunter Valley Private Hospital is located on the fringe of Newcastle and is close to the Pacific Motorway, vineyards, and university. We are an independent 83 bed facility with a 5 theatre Operating Suite providing medical (geriatric and palliation), rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, and surgical services.
