#525161 Administration Officer Department of Surgical Services Calvary Mater Newcastle Multiple Positions Available Permanent Part-Time Positions. Salary Classification: Administration Officer Level 3 Year 1-2. Remuneration: $33.30- $34.33 per hour, excluding superannuation. THE ROLE: The Administration Officer is responsible for providing accurate administrative and transactional services for members of the surgical services team under the direction of a Nurse Manager. The successful applicant will be responsible for data entry, scheduling and general documentation support. DUTIES: Data entry for unit rosters into relevant IT systems. Assist Managers in producing reports on finance and quality indicators. Schedule meetings, provide accurate record keeping and attendance notes. Participate in numerical profiling, quality accreditation processes and incident management. ABOUT YOU: IPM knowledge. Ability to develop strong working relationships. Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Hold a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent. Demonstrated experience in word processing, spreadsheet and database software. Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high-pressure, high-volume work environment. Excellent communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
