About the role: This position is situated within the Disability Services Unit which is responsible for providing NDIS services such as Support Coordination and Behaviour Support to MacKillop clients.
The Administration Officer reports to the Team Leader – Support Coordination.
The Administration Officer provides effective administrative support to the Disability Team by ensuring that the program is financially reimbursed for all work performed.
The Administration Officer provides effective support to the Disability Team through claiming for NDIS services delivered by Support Coordinators and Behaviour Support Practitioners using Family Journey and the NDIS Portal.
Other objectives may include liaising with the NDIS, completing/amending Service Bookings using the NDIS Portal, completing monthly reports for the Finance Department and other additional duties.
This is a Part-Time opportunity based in Footscray within our Disability Services Program.
The position reports to the Team Leader – Support Coordination.
Please note this role may also require the applicant to travel to the Barwon office - or position can be located in Barwon if required.
Key Selection Criteria: To be successful in this role, the incumbent will have: A minimum of 1 year of administrative experience.
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
A commitment to a high level of customer service, including the ability to remain calm and think clearly under pressure.
Strong organisational skills including the ability to prioritise, produce work of a high quality and consistently meet deadlines.
The ability to participate collaboratively and constructively within teams of peers, staff and other stakeholders, as well as show initiative and effective personal judgement when working alone.
