Key Responsibilities: Provide outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with residents, their relatives and friendsEnsure accurate and up-to-date data entry for financial reconciliation.Communicate with customers and their families to understand and evaluate their experience with Uniting AgeWellChecking in visitors, contractors and other guests, ensuring OSH guidelines are followedMaintain up-to-date staff records and manage reports, filing, and archivingProvide friendly and professional reception switchboard supportAd-hoc Administration duties as required or advisedAbout you: You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents/clients, to support them to live life to their potential
This is the place for you if you have: Experience and expertise in managing a busy switchboard and receptionExperience in communicating effectively with a diverse range of people, including older people or those who have disabilitiesExperience in residential aged care or community is strongly preferredExperience in database and finance systemsExcellent proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook with keyboard skills of typing of 50 wpmThrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactionsAre committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BESTway of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)Essentials for working in Aged Care: A current Working With Children Check card (Employee)Current and ongoing flu vaccinationsAustralian working rightsAbility to pass a national police clearance and NDIS ClearanceMake a positive difference in your community – apply now!
