Key Responsibilities: Provide outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with residents, their relatives and friends Ensure accurate and up-to-date data entry for financial reconciliation. Communicate with customers and their families to understand and evaluate their experience with Uniting AgeWell Checking in visitors, contractors and other guests, ensuring OSH guidelines are followed Maintain up-to-date staff records and manage reports, filing, and archiving Provide friendly and professional reception switchboard support Ad-hoc Administration duties as required or advised About you: You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents/clients, to support them to live life to their potential
This is the place for you if you have: Experience and expertise in managing a busy switchboard and reception Experience in communicating effectively with a diverse range of people, including older people or those who have disabilities Experience in residential aged care or community is strongly preferred Experience in database and finance systems Excellent proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook with keyboard skills of typing of 50 wpm Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions Are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BESTway of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust) Essentials for working in Aged Care: A current Working With Children Check card (Employee) Current and ongoing flu vaccinations Australian working rights Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance Make a positive difference in your community – apply now!
