Based at our Home Community Services Hub in Burwood East, working Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality professional administrative support. You'll be the backbone of our administrative functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reconciliation, assisting with critical processes like client funding, and providing administrative support to case managers and subcontractors. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about client satisfaction, and enjoys working collaboratively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities: Ensure accurate and up-to-date data entry for financial reconciliation. Liaise with accounts payable and receiving departments regarding invoice payment approvals and remittances. Assist with the client funding discharge or upgrade process in the database. Assist Medicare adjustments on PRODA, including leave, discharge, income-tested fees, and supplements for HCP clients Coordinate with subcontractors to meet billing requirements. Accurately enter data and process client reimbursements Support case managers in entering data for purchase orders. Ensure all client data and records are accurate and current. Perform ad-hoc administrative projects or duties as required. Communicate with customers and their families to understand and evaluate their experience with Uniting AgeWell. Maintain up-to-date staff records and manage reports, filing, and archiving. Provide relief on front desk; check in visitors/contractors/guests, switchboard support, general reception support. Qualification or equivalent previous experience in Business Administration or Book Keeping Experience and expertise in financial reconciliation Understand community care funding (PRODA) mechanism is strongly preferred Experience in database management and finance systems (TechOne, Procura, AlayaCare) Experience in communicating effectively with a diverse range of people, including older people or those who have disabilities Excellent proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft products Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions Are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BESTway of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust) Essential requirements: A current Working WithChildren's Check card Current and ongoing flu vaccinations Australian working rights Ability to pass a national police clearance Make a positive difference in your community – apply now!
