An exciting opportunity exists to join the business to support our operations. Based in Launceston, this role will primarily provide support to the Administration Manager and our many and varied administration functions across the business. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to develop and grow within a fast-paced team environment.
Key responsibilities include: Reception duties including greeting and assisting visitors and managing incoming callsGeneral duties including daily collecting and managing incoming mail and banking requirements, managing office stationery levels, maintaining kitchen facilities etc.General clerical duties including document management, photocopying, filing, archiving, organising meetings, meeting minutes etc. as requiredAdministration duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll data entry into relevant systems, reconciliation of supplier/bank statements etc.Operation of various computer systems and software (e.g. Agtech, MYOB, Microsoft suite (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word))Key capabilities required include: Qualifications in bookkeeping, business administration or similar, otherwise equivalent work experience5+ years administration experience in a similar environment, including solid experience in, and knowledge of, accounts payable, accounts receivable and account reconciliation tasksTime and attendance and payroll knowledge and experience desirableOperates with professionalism, has excellent customer service skills and can easily network across all levels of the organisationWorks in a positive, proactive and highly organised manner with excellent attention to detailHas a continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to undertake training as requiredIs a hard worker who is highly reliable and dependable and takes full responsibility for own dutiesAn active and flexible team player who is able to work effectively without supervisionHelp shape the future of this Tasmanian owned and operated company by supporting all business departments from an administration perspective.
