Administration Officer

Fortis Power is an electrical contracting company who is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to manage its financial operations including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, reconciliations and financial reporting among other duties. 
The position is based at our office in Cambridge.
Duties include: Processing accounts payable and receivableProcessing payrollUndertaking bank and other reconciliationManaging the accounting application (QuickBooks) and associated appsProcessing Instalment and Business Activity Statements reporting and paymentsProcessing superannuation deductions and paymentsPreparing accounts and documentation for annual auditPreparing financial reporting for managementWorking with suppliers and subcontractors to order parts and products and monitoring the progress of ordersGenerating sales invoices for works completedMonitoring and managing debtors listsPerforming general scanning, filing and managing telephone callsAssisting our rental property service department to schedule maintenance tasks and liaising with rental property managers Qualifications and Experience: Experience with the QuickBooks Accounting Software or similar and Microsoft ExcelExperience with Aroflo scheduling software or similar would be desirableHigh level numeracy and attention to detail skillsAbility to undertake reconciliations and resolve problemsAbility to interpret Awards and the National Employment StandardPolite telephone mannerBasic knowledge of domestic electrical appliances/terminology would be an advantageHours of work and remuneration are negotiable based on skills and experience.
